Ultrasonographer (PRN) - Radiology Ultrasound

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist to join our team.

As a Sonographer, you will operate assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes, providing Sonography services within professional standards while delivering excellent customer service.

90%) Sonography Imaging

Explains and prepares patients for ultrasound procedures, positioning them appropriately.

Performs routine and advanced imaging procedures with minimal supervision, providing patient support throughout.

Follows physician orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains records in the Radiology Information System (RIS).

Maintains an orderly and clean work area, sanitizing equipment to promote safety.

Maintains the American College of Radiology (ACR) toolkit and accreditation requirements.

(5%) Sonography Department Support

Assists with updating imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.

Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary.

Assists with training new team members, providing resources and technical expertise.

(Completes other tasks and projects as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Graduate of an AMA-accredited sonography program or CAAHEP.

Registered sonographer with ARDMS, current and in good standing.

Sonography specialty certification (AB, BR, ObGyn, etc.).

Licensed sonographer in the applicable state (if required).

Appropriate training and experience to perform procedures independently.

Bilingual proficiency.
