As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government location, you will help support a professional environment by conducting screening activities, monitoring access points, and assisting with security-related concerns through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal items using approved equipment and screening methods while following post orders and established protocols.

Verify identification, credentials, permits, and/or visitor information before allowing entry, and report irregularities according to site procedures.

Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry points, lobby areas, and/or surrounding perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
