Westminster Baldwin Park has two open positions for a Full Time Cooks to assist in our new Full Service Restaurant. We are a not-for-profit community service organization dedicated and committed to providing services for older adults.

We are currently searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA with Med Tech certification to work in the Memory Care facility. In this role, the CNA is responsible to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with state and federal standards. This position reports to the Director of Memory Care. Schedule: Part Time | All shifts available

Assist patients/residents with Daily Living Activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfer, ambulation, toileting and other resident needs.

• Observe and document residents' self-administration of medications, ensuring compliance with prescribed regimens and promptly reporting any irregularities or concerns to the nurse.
• report any changes in resident conditions to the nurse.
• Practice Infection Prevention and Control measures in compliance with Federal, State and Facility requirements.

Medical Technician Certified-Med Tech

Working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably a minimum of 6 months.

Ability to provide direct patient care while maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect.

• Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language and understand and follow written and oral directions.
• Ability to transfer, lift, reposition, and assist residents safely using proper body mechanics and equipment.
