Administrative Assistant
Burnett is very excited to be partnering with a national leader in gas/chemical manufacturing. This client has an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant in their Sweetwater, TX office. This role is slated for a 6 month contract with the potential to get extended/go perm. The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in providing office support functions for staff and management. Maintain and organize office filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, email, and phone calls, directing them to the appropriate parties.
Ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Provide administrative support to senior management and other staff as required.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Organize and execute company events, team-building activities, and employee appreciation initiatives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, greeting visitors professionally.
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Foster a positive and productive office culture.
Facilitate effective communication channels within the office.
Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
Three to five years' experience in a corporate environment as a general secretary or customer service representative
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); must be comfortable using Excel for data entry, and spreadsheet organization
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work overtime
Pay Rate is $18/hr while contract
Hours will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
