RN L&D - Night Shift

Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: This position offers an elevated seasonal winter rate. If your traveler starts on 9/21 or 9/28, they will receive the standard rate until 10/4, at which point the posted seasonal rate will take effect. On 2/27, rates will return to standard amounts. This role does not require on-call duty, but candidates may be required to float to postpartum if needed. The Registered Nurse will be expected to monitor fetal heart rates, assist in high-risk pregnancy management, and support C-sections and vaginal deliveries.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage high-risk pregnancies.

Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections.

Perform fetal heart monitoring and other assessments.

Provide couplet care for newborns and mothers after delivery.

Participate in triage and care for antepartum patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.

Current RN license (Compact license preferred).

Certifications: AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM.

No first-timers accepted. Weekend shifts required every other weekend.
