Portland Public Schools seeks an innovative and passionate educator to join our team as a Upper Elementary Teacher at Westwood Elementary. Our district is collaborative and committed to supporting staff growth, instructional innovation, and positive outcomes for every student.

Understanding of, or demonstrated training in, PBIS and MTSS frameworks

Ability to effectively integrate technology into teaching and learning practices

Willingness to contribute to extracurricular programs and the broader school community

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution

Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an Elementary endorsement

Strong foundation in subject area content and Common Core standards

Ability to use assessments and student data to guide meaningful instruction

Commitment to maintaining a safe school climate with high expectations, strong collaboration, positive morale, and community involvement
