Are you passionate about patient care and looking for an opportunity to build valuable clinical experience in a highly specialized healthcare environment? As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) on our Heart Floor at The Heart Hospital at Deaconess Gateway, you'll be an essential member of a collaborative care team dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.
What You'll Do
Working alongside experienced nurses and healthcare professionals, you'll provide hands-on support that directly impacts patient comfort, recovery, and overall experience. Key responsibilities include:

Assisting patients with daily personal care needs such as bathing, oral hygiene, toileting, and linen changes
Supporting patient mobility, transfers, ambulation, and repositioning to promote safety and recovery
Monitoring and documenting vital signs and other important patient information
Accurately recording observations in patient charts to support quality care
Providing compassionate emotional support to patients and families throughout their healthcare journey

Qualifications
Required:

~ Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification within six months of hire

Preferred:
