Manufacturing EngineerAre you an engineer who enjoys solving real-world manufacturing challenges, improving processes, and seeing the results of your work firsthand? We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join Vandor and help drive improvements across our manufacturing operations.This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the process—working alongside Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Purchasing to improve quality, increase efficiency, troubleshoot challenges, and support new products and equipment.Schedule: This is an on-site Monday-Friday, 1st Shift Salary-Exempt position. What You'll DoAs our Manufacturing Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to:Develop, improve, and document manufacturing processes focused on quality, productivity, efficiency, and repeatabilityLead and support equipment trials, process validation, product qualification, and production launchesTroubleshoot production challenges and develop practical, data-driven solutionsUse DOE, SPC, process capability analysis, and other statistical methods to improve process performanceDrive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiativesImprove yield and throughput while identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve part qualitySupport the sourcing and implementation of new equipment and automationEvaluate equipment and tooling performance and recommend improvements, refurbishment, or replacementParticipate in new product feasibility reviews with a focus on manufacturability, cycle time, reliability, and qualityPartner across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Purchasing to solve equipment, process, and material issuesProvide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to Team MembersRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForYou'll be a strong fit if you are a self-starter and problem solver who is comfortable balancing independent project work with hands-on collaboration on the manufacturing floor.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experienceA strong technical background in areas such as Lean manufacturing, tooling, equipment, materials, and qualityThe ability to independently develop new processes and troubleshoot existing production issuesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into practical solutionsThe ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsConfidence working cross-functionally and providing technical leadership to othersStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and WordA creative mindset and willingness to challenge existing processes and recommend better solutionsJoin Our TeamAt Vandor, we value Team Members who are Focused, Mindful, Grateful, and Conscientious and who are committed to learning, sharing knowledge, and helping those around them grow.Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceHSA with employer contributions401(k) with company matchVacation TimePaid Holidays – including your birthday!Additional benefits and Team Member programsIf you're ready to put your engineering experience to work in a role where you can make a visible impact on manufacturing performance, apply today to join Vandor as our next Manufacturing Engineer!
