Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry
Manage care for geriatric patients with conditions such as CHF, chest pain, COPD, and respiratory issues
Perform NG tube placement/management, foley placement/management, and chest tube management
Conduct wound care and handle central line/ports/midline blood draws
Interpret cardiac rhythms and titrate drips like Cardizem, amiodarone, heparin, Lasix, insulin
Participate in patient ambulation, ADLs, and I/O documentation
Requirements of the RN - Telemetry
Valid RN license
BLS and NIHSS certifications; ACLS preferred
Minimum of 1 year MedSurg/Tele experience
Proficiency with EPIC EMR and cardiac rhythm interpretation
