Family Law Attorney

The Family Law Attorney will manage complex family law matters from intake through resolution, serving as a trusted advocate for clients during critical life events. This role offers meaningful client interaction, regular courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and high performing legal team. The position is well suited for an experienced attorney who brings confidence, sound judgment, and strong litigation skills. Manage a full caseload of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and post judgment modifications

Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and final orders

Develop case strategy and provide clear, practical legal guidance to clients

Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively in contested matters

Maintain timely and accurate case documentation and billing

Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure consistent client service

Stay current on changes in family law statutes, case law, and best practices

Mentor junior attorneys or legal staff as appropriate

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

Five to eight years of substantive family law experience

Demonstrated courtroom and litigation experience in family law cases

Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills

High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and discretion when working with clients
