A bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred)Valid Texas teaching certification with SPED endorsementsDemonstrated experience in special education, social work, counseling, or a related disciplineA background as a school counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), psychologist, or social worker is strongly encouragedSkills in developing, supporting, and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)Familiarity participating in ARD, IEP, RtI, and 504 meetingsAbility to collaborate in classroom environments and assist with crisis interventionKey responsibilities include crafting and monitoring BIPs, leading functional assessments, participating in intervention and planning meetings, and offering direct support to staff and students when behavioral challenges arise. Your expertise will help shape effective behavioral strategies and a positive learning atmosphere for those who benefit most.Starting pay begins at $30 per hour and is commensurate with experience.
