The ideal candidate would work 4-4.5 days between their Opelika and newly opened Auburn office.

The pay structure begins at $500 per day, with an additional 20% bonus on any earnings over that amount from exams and optical purchases within two weeks of the visit.

Their scheduling typically includes four exams and one or two follow-up appointments per hour.

The support staff comprises two technicians, a receptionist, a contact lens specialist, an optician, and a back-office manager who is ready to assist with insurance and optical needs. The optometrist will have access to top-notch equipment, including Optos, Slit Lamps, Autorefactors, and Digital Phoropters, all to help provide exceptional care.

They hope to find someone available on Wednesday mornings, Thursdays, and Fridays but value flexibility and are happy to discuss arrangements that work best for the candidate.

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school

Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining
