Warehouse Teammate (Finance)

A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what's special about each local marketplace.

Pay for Warehouse Teammate is between $21 and $23 per hour at this location.

Do you thrive on providing an excellent customer experience? Do you possess the attention to detail necessary to ensure the accurate fulfillment of customer orders? Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.

Stock and maintain the warehouse; and pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure.

Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle.

Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations.

Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.

Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.

Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.

Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.

Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues.

Assist co-workers in servicing customers.

Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.

Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience

Training will be conducted in Alexandria, Virginia

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Strongly prefer if you have a minimum of two (2) years experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, order picking, and material handling

Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems

Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills.

Be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers.

Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.

Be able to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday

Be able to learn and operate the computer‑related systems used for warehouse operations.

Read, write, speak, and understand English.
