Testing Engineering M/F

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and integrate software for manufacturing test systems.

Develop and maintain test software and hardware solutions for manufacturing environments.

Create and maintain software requirements and system design documentation.

Collaborate with OEM tester software teams and support test software transfers to global manufacturing sites.

Debug and resolve test issues using engineering principles and improve testing efficiency.

Support Cisco network-based product testing, including advanced routing, switching, WAN design, and router configuration.

Provide technical leadership within the software test team and mentor peers.

Perform failure analysis and test development activities.

Requirements

At least two years of production experience and preferably three or more years in a manufacturing or electronics-focused environment.

Experience with advanced failure analysis, test development, software system architecture, and unit test scripts.

Proficiency in Python, Linux, and Visual Basic.

Familiarity with multi-tiered systems and PXE servers.

Working knowledge of network fundamentals and software engineering principles.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science required; a master’s degree in computer science is preferred.

Five or more years of comparable professional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement on a case-by-case basis.

Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and customer-focused skills.
