Cardiac Registered Nurse Full Time Night Shift

Registered Nurse - Cardiac Unit 30 Company: Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove, IL
Location: 32‑bed Cardiac Unit specializing in complex heart conditions: acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, arrhythmias, post‑cardiac cath and procedural care, and post‑cardiac surgery recovery. Nurses provide continuous cardiac monitoring with patient ratios of 4‑5, collaborating closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care.
Schedule Night Shift 7pm to 7:30am, 36hours per week, 3 12‑hour shifts. Full‑time position, 36 hours per week. Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour.
Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
