Head of Project Management

Team NEO is a private, nonprofit economic development organization focused on accelerating business growth and job creation across the 14 counties of Northeast Ohio. As the designated JobsOhio Network Partner, the organization collaborates with local economic development entities to align regional strategies and amplify impact. Team NEO uses research and data analysis to inform decision‑making, shape policy discussions, and drive practical solutions for the region. The team promotes Northeast Ohio as a business destination and works to expand access to jobs, education, and training for the region’s 4.3 million residents. The Project Manager role at Team NEO is a full-time, on‑site position based in Cleveland, OH. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing economic development projects from initiation through completion, including defining scope, timelines, and deliverables. The Project Manager will collaborate with internal teams, public‑and‑private‑sector partners, and community stakeholders to ensure projects are aligned with regional economic development goals. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, managing budgets and resources, preparing status reports and presentations, and identifying and mitigating risks. The role also involves supporting data‑informed decision‑making, documenting best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of project management processes.

Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and budget tracking.

Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities, with experience working across public, private, and nonprofit organizations.

Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and using insights to inform project decisions and recommendations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear project documentation and deliver presentations.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Experience in economic development, public policy, community development, or a related field is highly beneficial.

Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office, project management software) is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
