L&D Registered Nurse Weekend

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

12-Hour Day shift. Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks: 16

Must have a minimum of five years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn in a healthcare setting.

American Heart Association ACLS or ALSO, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced FHM required. May substitute RNC-EFM for AWHONN FHM.

Provide nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn units.

Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and fetal heart monitoring.

Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

May function as a charge nurse after completing charge nurse training.

Occasionally float to other departments as needed, performing related duties.
