Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a challenging role in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a specialized unit, managing various patient diagnoses and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac, respiratory, COVID-19, infectious diseases, and pre- and post-operative needs.
Monitor patient vitals and conditions, implementing care plans and interventions as necessary.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while adhering to safety protocols.
Participate in patient education and support to promote health management and recovery.
Perform special procedures relevant to the unit's certifications and requirements.
Qualifications

Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; previous experience in a PCU, Med Surge, or telemetry setting preferred.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
Experience with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems is required.
Must be willing to float to sister units as needed.
Local candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Shift Details
This position involves a 4x12-hour day shift, from 07:00 to 19:00, with every other weekend coverage required.
