Seamstress/ sewing and cutting

Sewing Machine Operator – Unique Sports Equipment Manufacturer

Pay: $18-$20/hr DOE. Schedule: M-F7:00a-3:30p. Location: Lansdale, PA 19446.

Primary Responsibilities

Fulfill sewing orders of varying degrees of size, difficulty, and types of materials (foam, vinyl). Measure and cut, as assigned.

Read and interpret sewing patterns, technical specifications, or production drawings to complete assigned jobs.

Perform quality control on all work to maintain the highest level of integrity of the products.

Adhere to all OSHA safety laws and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience working with industrial sewing machines, sewing heavyweight fabrics.

Knowledge of how to utilize and leverage industrial single and double needle sewing machines.

Skilled in measuring, gluing, sewing, and cutting.

Team-oriented attitude with willingness to take direction and help others.

Ability to identify needs or foresee issues and take initiative to address them proactively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with heavy‑duty materials or specialty textiles (e.g., vinyl, foam-backed fabrics, canvas).

Physical Demands

Will consistently lift, push, and pull up to 20-30 pounds on a frequent basis with up to 50 pounds on occasion. Will do a combination of standing, bending, squatting, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods of time.
