Head of Recruiting & HR

Our client is seeking an engaging and hands-on Human Resources Manager to serve as the primary HR leader for a large and dynamic business unit. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building relationships, coaching leaders, navigating employee relations matters, and creating a positive workplace culture.
As the on-site HR presence, you will partner closely with employees and managers across the organization while collaborating with a centralized Corporate HR team that oversees payroll, benefits, compensation, and other centers of excellence. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor, visible leader, and culture champion who leads by example and helps drive employee engagement and organizational success.
Candidates with experience in service-based industries, real estate, property management, hospitality, construction, or related environments are highly encouraged to apply.
Serve as the primary HR resource and trusted advisor for employees and managers at the local business unit.
Partner with leaders to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, and organizational effectiveness.
Coach and support managers on employee development, engagement, performance, and leadership best practices.
Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including workforce planning, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
Partner with Corporate HR Centers of Excellence, including Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent programs, to ensure employees receive appropriate support and resources.
Ensure HR policies and practices are consistently applied and compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Strong experience in employee relations, manager coaching, investigations, performance management, and recruitment.
