Key Qualifications:

Current, active RN license in good standing
Proven experience and strong clinical skills in Stepdown nursing
Proficiency with patient assessments, EKG monitoring, titrating drips, and rapid response
Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and communication abilities
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Main Responsibilities:
Monitor and care for Stepdown patients, identifying changes in condition promptly
Administer medications and adjust therapies as ordered by providers
Interpret and respond to cardiac monitors and telemetry equipment
Document patient status, interventions, and updates accurately
Communicate efficiently with physicians, patients, and families on care plans and progress
Maintain a high standard of patient safety and infection control practices
Participate in hand-off communication and contribute to a cohesive patient care experience
