As an Assistant Teacher , you'll partner with Lead Teachers and center leadership to create classrooms where children can safely play, learn, explore, and grow.
Engage with children during learning activities, play, meals, transitions, outdoor time, and daily routines.
Curriculum® by helping teachers create fun, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Keep children safe. Practice active supervision and help maintain a clean, organized, nurturing classroom environment.
Help with everyday care. Get to know the children in your care and help create a classroom where every child feels welcomed and supported.
Support positive, professional communication with parents and caregivers about their child's day.
Participate in training and professional development while building your skills as an early childhood educator.

Is at least 18 years old
Has a High School Diploma or GED
Has previous childcare experience or a genuine interest in building a career in early childhood education
Is dependable and understands that children and teammates count on them to be here
Is comfortable receiving coaching and feedback
Meets all applicable state and federal requirements, including required health and safety training, immunizations, and employment physical requirements
Working with young children means you're rarely sitting on the sidelines. You'll be playing on the floor, helping little hands, cleaning up spills, singing songs, heading outside, comforting big feelings, and probably hearing the same story more than once. Cleaning and sanitizing classroom materials and spaces
Actively supervising children by both sight and sound
Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and getting up and down from the floor
Participating in outdoor activities throughout the year, with temperatures potentially ranging from approximately 20°F with wind chill to 95°F
Maintaining the physical and mental alertness necessary for active supervision
