Head of Food Services

We pride ourselves on being a part of an organization whose focus is to bring world-class entertainment to those living in and visiting the “Horse Racing Capital of the World.” Under general supervision of the Director of Food & Beverage, the Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision of all Food and Beverage outlets. Ensures that all food and beverage operations are executed to achieve established quality, service, safety and financial goals and objectives and in accordance with all applicable established laws and regulations.
Directly supervises, mentors, and trains the Beverage Service Supervisors, Beverage Servers, Cocktail Servers, Bartenders, Stockers and Barbacks.
Trains and supervises the beverage staff.
Reports the status of operations, concerns or any standard variances relating to the beverage stations, beverage service personnel, or inventory levels to the Food and Beverage leadership.
Work alongside the Food and Beverage Leadership to ensure operational efficiency within the department.
Maintains, fully understands and enforces liquor policies and procedures, rules and ordinances.
Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly beverage service to all guests.
Maintains a neat, clean, orderly, organized, safe, well-stocked, and comfortable work environment for team members and guests.
Greet guests and build personal first name relationships.
Assist in re-stocking beverage service areas with the necessary supplies to meet guest needs.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous cash handling experience is required.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English; Bi-Lingual is a plus.
