Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide intermediate-level nursing care to adult and pediatric surgical and vascular patients requiring close cardiac monitoring
Perform invasive line monitoring including arterial pressures and central venous pressures
Manage and interpret dysrhythmias and administer critical medications
Care for post-procedural vascular patients including post-TAVR, post-CEA, and post-femoral popliteal bypass populations
Manage transvenous pacemakers, chest tubes, and respiratory ventilation as needed
Float within scope to other units if necessary
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Cardiac telemetry/telemetry monitoring experience required
Active WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted at time of submission
BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association)
Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); medical exemption documentation accepted
Permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the facility (75–100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis)
Preferred Experience / Skills
PALS certification (preferred, not required)
Experience with Cerner electronic health records
Prior experience in a stepdown, PCU, or intermediate care unit setting
