Key Responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist
Operate Varian Truebeam, Varian Trilogy, and IBA Proton systems
Ensure accuracy in radiation delivery to patients
Maintain detailed treatment records using Aria EMR
Participate in department orientation with the chief or lead therapist
Adhere to safety protocols and dress code (gray scrubs)
Requirements of the Radiation Therapist
- Active VA state license at submission
- 2+ years of experience with specified Varian systems
- Certifications: RT(T) and BLS (AHA required)
