Registered Nurse (RN) - Shift Care

Registered Nurse Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Contract Length: 9 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
• 2+ years of experience working with stroke patients
• RN license (verification must be less than 30 days old)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• NIHSS Certification must be obtained within 48 hours if offered
• mRs/SIREN Certification must be obtained within 48 hours if offered
• COVID vaccination (declinations not accepted)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards.

Ensure the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under direction.

Utilize specialized knowledge and judgment to assess data and provide care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and report changes in patient condition.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Compliance / Notes:

Must be willing to work the facility's schedule. 1 supervisory reference from the last 6 months and 1 from the last 12 months are required.
