Assistant Real Estate Title - Escrow Closer

Overview:
growing title company is seeking a versatile Escrow Officer / Escrow Assistant who is comfortable handling both escrow duties and title processing responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who can manage files from opening through closing while also assisting with title review, clearance, and preparation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage real estate transactions from file opening through closing and funding
Prepare and review closing documents, including CDs, ALTA statements, and settlement statements
Communicate with real estate agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, and attorneys throughout the transaction
Order title searches, review title commitments, and identify title issues
Clear title requirements, including liens, judgments, and other encumbrances
Prepare title commitments, policies, and endorsements
Coordinate and schedule closings, ensuring all conditions are met
ssist with escrow-related tasks such as disbursements, funding, and post-closing follow-up
Maintain accurate and compliant file documentation
Provide administrative support as needed, including answering phones and assisting with client inquiries
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in escrow, title, or real estate closings
Strong understanding of the full closing process from contract to post-closing
Experience reviewing title commitments and clearing title issues

Familiarity with title software (SoftPro, RamQuest, ResWare, or similar)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
