Full time (Monday - Friday, day shift), no nights, no on‑call, no weekends, no holidays

Participates as part of an interdisciplinary care team in the treatment of cardiac conditions such as heart failure, heart valve disorders, high blood pressure, vascular disorders, heart attack and arrhythmia

Interprets data and responds to urgent situations in a way that optimizes patient care and produces positive outcomes.

Works closely with cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, electrophysiologists, and other physicians in the care and treatment of full range of cardiovascular conditions

Participates in clinical trials and clinical research programs as per clinic needs

Documents legible and concise entries in the medical record.

Provides general nursing care to patients as necessary for office treatment.

Responds to and refers to incoming telephone calls.

Administers medications in accordance with physician orders.

Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.

Experience: Minimum of three years Cardiac RN experience in an acute care or cardiology clinic setting required.

Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations; Cardiac Medicine Certification (CMC) through American Association of Critical Care Nursing (AACN) preferred or Cardiac Vascular Nursing Certification (CV‑BC) through American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) preferred.
