Litigation Paralegal - Remote/Hourly

LITIGATION PARALEGAL

Schedule: During the initial 1–2 month training period, employees work onsite five days per week. After training, the schedule transitions to a hybrid model with three days in the office and two days working remotely.

Hourly Rate: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour

• Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a highly respected plaintiff-side litigation firm specializing in asbestos and toxic tort cases.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage multiple cases from inception through trial. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting attorneys, coordinating litigation activities, and delivering exceptional client service throughout the legal process.

Request, review, organize, and summarize medical, pathology, radiology, employment, military, and Social Security records.

• Coordinate with medical providers, expert witnesses, and consulting physicians to obtain records, declarations, and supporting documentation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, notices, declarations, discovery responses, subpoenas, and other litigation documents.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and referring attorneys.
• Perform additional litigation support and case management duties as assigned.

Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program, an accredited paralegal program, or an equivalent combination of education and qualifying legal experience.

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred.
• Plaintiff personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Asbestos plaintiff litigation experience highly preferred.
• Experience reviewing medical records and familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
• Strong drafting skills for pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Experience with litigation software such as Summation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and legal support staff.
