Zachry Construction is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to perform metal fabrication in support of various projects within their assigned area. This position requires skill in interpreting blueprints, fabricating materials to specification, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Read and understand blueprints and drawings prior to starting projects
Source materials needed to complete assigned work
Measure and cut materials to precise specifications
Use necessary tools and equipment to perform metal fabrication tasks
Safely use cutting torches, heating, and burning equipment
Safely operate saws, grinders, presses, and other fabrication tools
Minimum of one year of welding or fabricating experience
Must have tools necessary to perform metal fabrication work
Knowledge of operating cutting torches, heating and burning equipment
Must be able to pass a welding test
Flexibility to work more than eight hours per day, nights, or weekends as needed
Knowledge of operating other construction equipment and instruments is a plus
