Full Time LMFT - Remote position

Fairfield Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking dedicated and licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our expanding clinical team in a full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality behavioral healthcare designed to enhance the lives of our clients by addressing their unique family dynamics and individual psychological needs.

As a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will have the benefit of working from home, promoting an ideal work-life balance. Our outpatient office provides the necessary resources and support, ensuring that you can focus on client care while benefiting from a collegial atmosphere. With the latest digital technology at your fingertips, you will have the flexibility to conduct telemedicine sessions as well as in-person visits, tailored to the needs of your clients.

Conducting therapy sessions with couples, families, and individuals, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

Assessing clients' behavioral and emotional health to develop individualized treatment plans.

Documenting client progress and adjusting treatment methodologies in line with the client's evolving needs.

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community resources to coordinate care effectively.

Participating in ongoing training sessions to stay current with best practices and new therapeutic approaches.

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population that ranges from young children and adolescents to adults. Your expertise as an LMFT will be invaluable in helping clients navigate issues involving family dynamics, communication barriers, blended family situations, blended families created from remarriages, and managing the stressors of daily life. By focusing on the interconnectedness of individuals within a family system, you will help create lasting solutions that benefit overall mental health and family relationships.

A current and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Proficiency in utilizing digital platforms for teletherapy sessions.

While newly licensed professionals are encouraged to apply, experience in a clinical setting focused on family therapy, crisis intervention, or trauma-informed care is highly valued. Having experience working with adult and child/adolescent populations is also beneficial. At Fairfield Behavioral Health Center, we offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 – $100,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
