RPSGT /Polysomnography tech (Travel)

Certified Sleep Tech (Polysomnographer) in Burlington, Vermont, United States. This travel, temporary 4-week assignment starts on 07/30/2026 and offers a weekly pay range of $1,462–$1,505. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (7pm–7am) in a hospital setting. A current license on file at submission is required, along with Epic experience within the past 2 years. Weekly pay: $1,462–$1,505 per week

• Contract duration: Shift: 12-hour night shifts, three per week (7pm–7am)
• Travel assignment in a hospital environment
• Weekends: Every weekend is required

Set up and monitor polysomnography equipment, apply electrodes, and calibrate sensors for accurate data collection.

• Monitor patients throughout sleep, manage data acquisition, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Score sleep studies following standard scoring rules, review data for completeness, and escalate issues to the clinical team.
• Provide patient education, assist with mask fittings, and ensure patient comfort and safety during monitoring.
• Document events and activities in the patient record and collaborate with the sleep team using Epic for charting and data entry.
• Maintain infection control practices, equipment cleaning protocols, and adhere to facility policies; participate in continuous quality improvement where applicable.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of polysomnography experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate degree acceptable in a science field or completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sleep Technology Program.

• Epic experience within the past 2 years is required.
• Travel status: Prior travel experience not required but preferred.
• Shift and schedule: Ability to work 7pm–7am shifts; weekends required; Ability to work effectively in a hospital sleep laboratory setting; local transit is not available; personal vehicle or rental preferred; 24/7 recruiter and travel support
