MES Solution Architect
Remote but preferably in Cleveland, OH; occasionally meeting onsite 20% of the time, remote 80% of the time.
US citizen and Green Card holder.
As an MES Architect, you will serve as a crucial bridge between high‑level business planning (ERP) and MES, shop floor execution (PLCs/SCADA), designing a robust, scalable digital framework that enables real‑time visibility, compliance, and efficiency.
MES implementation experience with SCADA systems integration
Experience with MES platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, GE Proficy
PLC/OT systems knowledge
System architecture and solution design skills
Data integration and data modeling experience
Programming skills in SQL, Java, or .NET
MES implementation and vendor evaluation expertise
Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to analyze business needs and design scalable and secure system architectures.
Configure, test, and deploy MES software to optimize production and quality processes from raw materials to finished goods.
Analyze SCADA data to map it to the MES data structure.
Design and implement integration between MES, ERP, and other quality systems.
Define the MES architectural vision and roadmap to align with corporate manufacturing strategies, customer needs, and digitalization goals.
Establish and enforce MES‑specific standards, governance frameworks, data modeling, and best practices globally.
