Material HandlerLocation: Compton, CAPay: $16.50 per hourSchedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMJob Description: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team in Compton, CA. As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring materials are properly moved, organized, and stored. This position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Receive and inspect incoming materials and products.Transport materials to appropriate areas in the warehouse or production floor.Maintain an organized and clean workspace, including inventory storage areas.Load and unload products from trucks and containers.Record and track inventory data, including product counts and location.Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role preferred but not required.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.Ability to operate material handling equipment (training available if needed).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable transportation to and from work.
