Part Time Server / Waitstaff Evenings & Weekends

Server Position
Under the direction of the General Manager (GM) and management team, the Server works as part of the service team to ensure that each guest to Pizza Nova receive outstanding service and have a great experience at the restaurant. Employees will execute the key tasks to ensure the restaurant is clean and presentable, guests are being attended to, and will help their teammates in other assignments as needed. Successful employees place a priority on providing great customer service, are proactive in carrying out duties to Pizza Nova standards and are team players.
The Server's primary objective is to ensure a stellar guest experience by providing attentive and timely table service while following established Company service standards.

Greet tables, inform them of specialist, take accurate food/beverage orders and enter into the POS system.
Maintain current knowledge of food and beverage menus, including specials and promotional items. Promptly deliver food, beverages, and other requested items to the guest as requested.
Ensure that food is prepared correctly per guest order and that correct food is taken from the pass out window. Promptly address incorrect orders with the kitchen by following established procedures.
Be alert of any accidents or spills and promptly clean them up following proper procedures (e.g. marking of spills, using appropriate equipment to clear glass, etc.).
Complete side work tasks such as stocking wait station, resetting tables, refilling condiments, etc.
Be attentive to the guests and notify their server if additional items are needed.
Assist fellow staff as needed to help ensure a stellar guest experience.
Additional duties and projects, such as deep cleaning tasks, will be assigned as needed.
Possess a service-oriented mindset: outstanding customer service skills, effective interpersonal skills, and have a desire to help others.
Previous experience working as a server in a busy restaurant setting is desired.
Be willing and able to help the team to support the delivery of a top-notch guest experience.

Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is a must for this position.
The primary working environment is a busy restaurant setting. Employees in this environment will be exposed to many types of hazards including but not limited to heavy objects, cooking equipment, wet surfaces, hot surfaces, and crowded spaces. This is a part-time, hourly position.

Restaurant hours: 11am - 9pm, Sunday - Thursday | 11am - 9:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays.
Hourly is set to minimum wage in effect.
