This role manages staff performance, inventory, scheduling, and quality control while supporting department leadership in maintaining brand and company standards.Job Title: Housekeeping ManagerDepartments: HousekeepingSupervision Exercised: Room Attendants, House Attendants, Laundry AttendantsSupervision Received: Executive Housekeeper / General ManagerMust be able to work weekends and holidaysMinimum RequirementsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Associate or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.ExperienceMinimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel environment.At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role required.Experience with housekeeping or property management systems (HotSOS, OnQ, Opera, etc.) preferred.Skills & KnowledgeStrong leadership and communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.Ability to manage, train, and motivate a diverse team.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Knowledge of cleaning processes, chemical handling, and OSHA safety standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support the daily operations of the housekeeping team.Conduct room and public area inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to brand standards.Assist with scheduling, training, and performance reviews for housekeeping staff.Maintain linen, supply, and equipment inventories and ensure proper usage and control.Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure timely room readiness.Address and resolve guest concerns or requests professionally and promptly.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and sanitation procedures.Monitor departmental productivity and support labor management and cost control.Participate in department meetings and assist with reporting and recordkeeping.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.HRI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides fair and equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected status prohibited under Federal, State, or local laws.
