Qualifications

Active Florida LPN license required

High school diploma or GED

Current CPR/BLS certification

School-based nursing experience is preferred

Must complete district credentialing (including fingerprint clearance and JLA badge through the district office)

Dedication to working with children of all ages in a dynamic educational setting

Primary Responsibilities

Administer care for acute and chronic health issues of students during the school day

Provide emergency response as needed

Maintain accurate health records and documentation according to school protocols

Communicate with students, families, and school staff regarding student health needs

Participate in orientation and ongoing training prior to assignment

This is an on-site-only opportunity with no virtual/VOCO options, and most LPNs will be based at a single school location.
