HR Director - Payroll & Scheduling
Location: Hybrid, partly from home and partly in Staten Island. The position is expected to transition to Rockland County in the future.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000-$60,000 per year

We’re seeking an organized, dependable HR Director to oversee payroll, employee scheduling, and onboarding. This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage day-to-day HR operations, communicate clearly with employees and managers, and keep records accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities

Process payroll accurately and on schedule

Coordinate employee schedules and help address coverage needs

Manage onboarding for new hires, including paperwork and orientation

Maintain employee files and HR records

Support employees and managers with payroll, scheduling, and onboarding questions

Help ensure HR processes follow company policies and applicable requirements

Coordinate HR operations as the position transitions from Staten Island to Rockland County

Qualifications

Experience in human resources, payroll, scheduling, or a related administrative role

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Comfortable handling confidential employee information

Clear communication and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with computers and payroll or HR systems

Ability to work independently and coordinate with a team

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred
