Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 18:45 to 07:15.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in telemetry to provide high-quality care to our pulmonary and general medical patients. The ideal candidate must have excellent skills in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data.
Manage dysrhythmias and implement appropriate interventions.
Provide care for patients with tracheostomies, chest tubes, and bi-level positive airway pressure (BiPAP/CPAP) needs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
Float to other units as required within the service line.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
BCLS and NIH certifications are required.
Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
Patient Population
Care for adults, primarily pulmonary patients, patients with longer lengths of stay, including those with COPD and Asthma.
