Head of Project Management (Construction)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee project planning, cost estimating, and execution of projects in and around Baltimore. This position requires strong leadership & analytical skills to manage projects from pre-construction to completion, the ability to manage costs, quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Title: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Review construction drawings, specifications, and scope documents

Perform material take-offs and solicit subcontractor/supplier bids.

Coordinate with Sales & Operations teams to plan new projects

Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Track pricing & quality trends for labor, materials, and subcontractor services.

Plan, schedule, and manage residential construction projects from start to finish.

Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate execution.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with specifications, quality and code standards.

Manage change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and project documentation.

Coordinate with Superintendents to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Accurately maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and Gantt charts/progress reports.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction

What you bring:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).

3+ years of experience in residential construction project management.

Proficiency in estimating & project management software.

Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes, and materials.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
