Seasonal Merchandise Associate

Global retail apparel client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Associate Merchandiser to support the planning, execution, and management of product assortments throughout the product lifecycle. This role partners closely with Merchandising, Planning, Sourcing, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to drive business results, support key initiatives, and ensure accurate product and inventory management.

Support the Merchandising team in achieving departmental sales, margin, and inventory goals.

Analyze business performance, sales trends, and market insights to identify opportunities and support decision-making.

Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports.

Maintain assortment plans, update receipts, manage sample tracking, and ensure data accuracy across merchandising systems.

Assist with product lifecycle processes and prepare materials for key business meetings, including investment reviews and hindsight analyses.

Research competitors, market trends, pricing strategies, and product assortments to inform merchandising decisions.

Collaborate with Planning, Sourcing, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to support product launches and promotional initiatives.

Ensure timely communication of merchandising updates and critical information across stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

1+ year of merchandising experience, including internships or relevant retail experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of retail metrics and business performance.

Passion for fashion and a strong understanding of consumer and brand trends.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
