Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 8-Hour Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Monday – Friday | No Call | No Weekend Requirement
Key Responsibilities
Serve in a triage-focused role within an outpatient oncology clinic, supporting 1–2 assigned providers
Coordinate patient care, conduct patient education, and facilitate follow-up communications
Triage incoming patient phone calls and communicate results to patients as directed
Manage approximately 20 patient visits per day across assigned clinic rooms
Float as needed to other clinics within the same floor
Document and communicate using EPIC and SBAR methodology
Required Qualifications
Active RN license (NC or Compact license accepted)
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
Outpatient Oncology experience required
Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records required
Current BLS certification
Must provide own stethoscope
Preferred Experience / Skills
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
Experience with chemotherapy administration and IV placement
Background in Medical Oncology and/or Non-Malignant Hematology patient populations
