Job Description As a Security Officer Emergency Medical Support Driver in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting irregularities and/or access-control issues to the appropriate personnel.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
