As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeTue02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Sat06:30 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities‑related industrial location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, equipment areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and contractors, and reporting unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public emergency services as directed. Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
