Hotel Restaurant Server - Bartender

Description The Cocktail Server is responsible for taking food and beverage orders; courteously and efficiently serving food and beverages to guests in our Restaurant and collecting payments. Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing “Can Do” attitude and genuine hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
Performs other duties as required to provide “Can Do” attitude and genuine hospitality
Provides food and beverage service to guests
Provides guest with overview of menu and beverage choices
Takes guests’ food and beverage order - provides explanation of menu and upsells
Consolidates and picks up food and beverages which have been ordered. Ensures that all necessary/appropriate condiments are served with the appropriate dishes
Cleans tables, chairs and floor area
Assists Bartender as necessary to meet and exceed the guests’ expectations
Sets up and maintains appearance of Server areas
Minimum Requirements 1 year experience in a high volume bar
Licenses and Certifications Preferred Alcohol Training
Preferred CA Food Handler
CA Food Handler's Card required
Alcohol Training (TIPS / ServSafe) required
