Job Description This position will Lead civil design for studies, basic and detailed engineering for mineral and chemical processing plants for the recovery of critical minerals including base and precious metals. Will also provide project management support for civil design and construction projects. At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct and Safety Guidelines. Provide civil engineering services as part of a highly integrated engineering team for the completion of studies and detailed engineering.

Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion

Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications

Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies

Review and interpret client provided data.

Prepare advanced site grading and 3D earthwork models using AutoCAD Civil 3D, incorporating cut/fill optimization, mass-haul analysis, and automated volume reporting.

channels, culverts, energy dissipators, and sediment controls — including hydrological modeling using HEC-HMS and hydraulic analysis with HEC-RAS.

Perform calculations and material take-offsoPerform calculations and design using both computer-aided and manual design techniques.

Provide civil engineering support for projects in the from scoping, basic to detailed engineering phases.

In addition to further clarification of the tasks involved in project studies, the following civil activities will be required:

Review of procurement specifications

Review of value engineering proposals

Assist in project management and business development efforts, including preparation of proposals and review of client requirements.

Provide input to project progress reports

Qualifications 10 + Years of Progressive Civil Engineering Experience Required

Experience with Structural Engineering Preferred

Experience with Site Plans and Surveying Preferred

Experience with water supply systems Preferred

Proficient with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D Required

Experience with Material Take-off Calculations Preferred
