Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Urgent Need

Emergency Room Registered Nurse – ER RN
Schedule: Day shift – 3x12's
Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:

Current RN license in the State of Oregon
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
PALS certification required
TNCC certification required
Roles & Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon arrival, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.
Prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition.
Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as per physician orders, including performing emergency procedures like wound care and splinting.
Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and responses to treatments.
Work collaboratively with the medical team, including physicians and support staff.
Accurately document patient information and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR).
Provide patients and families with information regarding diagnoses and follow-up care instructions.
Respond to critical situations requiring immediate intervention.
Advocate for patients' rights, dignity, and preferences.
Compliance / Notes:

Participate in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position.
Agency nurses may be floated to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient care.
