Position Overview
The Legal Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the law firm. This role involves managing front desk activities, handling telephone communication, and supporting legal staff with administrative tasks to enhance overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional manner.

Answer phone calls, take messages, and forward calls to the appropriate personnel.

Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for attorneys and other staff.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes.

Prepare and maintain client files and legal documents with attention to detail.

Assist in the billing process by collecting payments and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, scanning, and filing.

Coordinate office supplies and inventory management.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional legal training or coursework is a plus.

Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a legal environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal management software.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
