Do you have a passion for patient care and a strong background in medical support services? Compass Health is hiring a on-call Medical Assistant to join our care teams and help ensure clients receive the support they need in a welcoming, professional environment.

As a Medical Assistant at Compass Health, you'll be at the heart of our medical teams, balancing direct patient interaction with essential administrative coordination. From taking vitals and supporting medication monitoring to scheduling appointments and managing referrals, you'll play a key role in keeping care flowing smoothly.

The right candidate will bring both strong technical skills and a warm, empathetic presence, helping clients feel supported while ensuring providers have what they need to deliver excellent care.

Prepare patients for examinations, record vital signs, and enter documentation into the medical record.

Assist providers during appointments, including administering and monitoring medications.

Coordinate psychiatric evaluation referrals and schedule patient appointments.

Provide administrative support such as processing voicemails, maintaining accurate records, and preparing correspondence.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, training requirements, and safety protocols.

Participate actively in team meetings, supervision, and continuous learning.

You'll collaborate closely with prescribers, nurses, and clinical teams across Compass Health to support client care. You'll also be in regular contact with outside labs, pharmacies, and primary care providers, ensuring that clients' needs are fully coordinated and addressed.

Current Washington State Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant training program, registered apprenticeship, post-secondary training (720+ hours), or equivalent military experience.
• phlebotomy certification a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
