Host - Restaurant/ Bar (Full Time)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/ Support Staff at The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection. in this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of our bar and restaurant by assisting bartenders & servers with stocking and preparing the restaurant & lounge bar area. This is a full-time, hourly position plus tip out in the hospitality/restaurant industry located in beautiful downtown Asheville, North Carolina.

• Keep restaurant area clean and organized, including wiping down counters, tables, and equipment.
• Greet each guest with enthusiasm and a warm, welcoming manner.
• Use an I-Pad with Resy reservation system to record guest wait times, reservations and seating rotations during service.
• Light side work required as needed to support the team.
• Answer the phone and take in-room dining and to go orders.
• Keep track of FOH inventory and inform management when supplies are running low.
• Assist with closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning the host station area.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality/restaurant industry preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
• Must be able to work mornings and weekends. Shifts typically start between 7am- 8am each day.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects on a regular basis.
